These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of ComputerRent.in (“we”, “our”, “us”)
and all rental/buyback services provided by us. By accessing our website or using our services,
you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Definitions
- “Customer / You” – The individual or company renting or selling equipment.
- “Equipment” – Laptops, desktops, MacBooks, workstations, servers, printers or any IT items we rent or buy.
- “Rental Period” – The duration for which the equipment is rented.
- “Agreement” – The rental or buyback order (online or offline).
2. Eligibility & Identification
To rent equipment, customers may be required to provide valid identification such as:
- Government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport)
- Company registration documents (for corporate clients)
- GST details (optional)
- Business/office address proof (for bulk rentals)
3. Rental Terms
By renting equipment from ComputerRent.in, you agree to the following:
- The equipment remains our property at all times.
- Customers are responsible for the equipment during the rental period.
- Delivery timelines are subject to availability and location.
- Minimum rental period may apply depending on the device category.
- Any hardware/software issues must be reported immediately.
Late Returns: Delayed return may result in extra rental charges calculated on a daily basis.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All rental charges must be paid as per the agreed schedule.
- Security deposit may be required for certain devices.
- GST is applicable as per government norms.
- For long-term rentals, monthly payments must be made before the next cycle begins.
- Accepted payment modes: UPI, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Cards, Cash (select locations).
5. Equipment Condition & Responsibility
Customers must:
- Keep equipment safe and protected.
- Use only genuine software/licenses.
- Avoid tampering with the hardware.
- Report damage, theft or loss immediately.
Damage, loss or theft: Additional charges may apply based on repair/replacement cost.
6. Replacement & Support
We provide:
- Free replacements for rental devices with technical issues (not due to misuse).
- Remote and on-site support subject to availability.
- Replacement time varies by location (Delhi NCR priority).
7. Buyback / Sell Terms
- Final pricing is based on physical inspection of the device.
- We may refuse to buy devices that fail verification checks.
- Data must be backed up by the customer before handover.
- We offer data-wipe service upon request.
- Payment for buyback is processed via UPI/Bank/Cash instantly after inspection.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are processed under the following conditions:
- Full refund if cancellation is made before delivery.
- No refund for the ongoing rental period once devices are delivered.
- If equipment fails to work and we cannot replace it, rental charges may be refunded.
9. Prohibited Use
Equipment must not be used for:
- Illegal activities
- Mining, hacking, or cybercrime
- Hosting malicious content or unauthorized servers
- Any activity that violates Indian law
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for accidental data loss, misuse of equipment, software issues, or any indirect damage.
Customers are responsible for backing up their data before installation or servicing.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse service if:
- Payment is delayed
- Equipment is misused
- Fraudulent information is provided
- Terms are violated
12. Changes to These Terms
Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the "Last Updated" date.
