Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for all rental, service, and buyback orders made through ComputerRent.in.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
1. Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order depending on the stage of processing:
- Before Dispatch:
Full refund is provided if the order is cancelled before the device(s) are shipped or delivered.
- After Dispatch but Before Delivery:
A cancellation fee may apply to cover logistics and handling charges.
- After Delivery:
Cancellation is not allowed after delivery. The rental period will be considered active.
2. Refunds for Rental Services
Refund eligibility for rental orders depends on the situation:
- Device Not Working on Arrival:
We provide a free replacement or 100% refund if the issue cannot be resolved.
- Wrong Device Delivered:
Full refund or immediate replacement will be provided.
- Customer Changes Mind After Delivery:
No refund is applicable.
- Short-term/event rentals:
Refund is not provided once devices are delivered and used.
3. Refunds for Buyback Orders
Refunds are applicable only if payment has already been processed by mistake:
- If a device fails verification checks after pickup, payment may be reversed after mutual consent.
- If a duplicate request or duplicate payment occurs, we issue a full refund.
- Buyback refunds (if any) are processed only after bank/UPI confirmation.
4. Advance Payments
In some cases, advance booking fees or security deposits are taken:
- Advance Booking Fees:
Fully refundable if the order is cancelled before dispatch.
- Security Deposits:
Refunded after device return and inspection.
- Deductions:
May apply for damages, missing accessories, late return, or unpaid rental days.
5. Replacement Policy
We provide replacements under the following conditions:
- Hardware failure not caused by misuse.
- Device not functioning as per the described specifications.
- Replacement is usually done within 12–48 hours in Delhi NCR.
No replacement is provided for physical damage caused by the customer.
6. Refund Process
Refunds are processed through the original payment method:
- UPI refunds: 1–3 working days
- Bank transfer/IMPS: 1–3 working days
- Credit/Debit card refunds: 5–7 working days
No cash refunds are provided unless explicitly agreed.
7. Late Return Fees
Late fees apply if devices are not returned on the agreed date:
- Daily rental charges will apply for each extra day.
- Additional penalties may apply for excessive delay.
8. Non-Refundable Items
- Used rental periods
- Delivery, pickup, and logistics charges
- Software installation fees
- Customization or special configuration charges
- Any consumables or accessories delivered
9. Disputes
All disputes are handled fairly. If the customer and company disagree on refund amounts,
the final decision will be based on physical inspection, usage records, and signed agreements.
